Right I saw the CUTEST little hot pink Kei van going to a construction site near where I live it was so smol. Pretty sure it was a Daihatsu Midget Van

Fair, but needs governor disabled so if you want to be pedantic that’s not in “production spec” plus it’s technically hybrid, and still took what almost 30 years to do it and lets be honest the Aston Martin Valkyrie is BARELY a road car lol. F1 did it with 618 hp, Valkyrie over 1,000 hp to just eek by sans governor. Y…
Fastest naturally aspirated car not fastest car full stop. No non forced induction production car has beat the F1
Looks are subjective so fair enough. Over rated, not a chance. STILL the fastest NA production car, ever, what some 25 years later, and compare it to the contemporaries of the time, it’s still the most valuable of the bunch by a HUGE margin. The only thing that comes close is the Zonda and those sell at about half the…
Lead photo is McLaren F1 thanks god it wasn’t part of the list, I didn’t want to have to fight whoever might have suggested anything negative about that car.
No it just makes a terrible vehicle.....fast. Though I did have a Durango ages ago as a rental, and it’s wasn’t terrible at least to me.
“When he doesn’t get what he wants, he changes direction slightly and flies forward again.”
I mean it has some nice styling elements, but like every other EV it’s just 2 screens and an expanse of nothing. But it’s not even just EV’s, a lot of modern automakers are doing it. Just a screen and nothing else it just seems I don’t know kind of sterile.
Stylistically it’s nice, but I think the OP’s point is that seemingly every modern car ends up kind of featureless, it’s like big screen in the middle, big screen in front of the driver and like nothing else going on. Sure the materials and colors look pretty nice but it’s kind of bland.
Except it’s not, it about the speed differential. Now to be fair an impact at a higher speed IS more dangerous but if the limit is 70 and the majority are doing 70, someone going 80, or going 60, present a similar level of danger to the vehicles doing the limit. Take Houston for example, though not the greatest…
Well to be fair if everyone else is going 79 it’s safer for you to speed 9 mph over than it is for you to be going 70.
Agreed especially since this WILL cost us the end user more for a vehicle, it doesn’t matter if it adds a few pennies to the build cost the automakers will probably add an additional $100 on the MSRP. But also it only saves 50 people nationwide. So this will make 0.12% of a difference, at least based on 2023 number…
I assume they meant bolt on’s lol. But yeah I don’t know any car that gets decent mileage on E30, One of the YouTube creators I watch, mainly computer stuff, has a track I think Camaro ZL1 that runs an E30 tune and he has some other performance ad on’s, he get single digit mileage. I can’t remember the year but it’s…
I doubt weight is really the issue. I think the main problem is emissions, it’s harder and harder to get a NA V8 to meet emissions. IT’s why a lot of automakers are moving away from them, or if they keep them it’s turbocharged with much smaller displacement.
“i mean, jesus tap dancing christ, who is the knuckle dragging trog who thought these were a good idea?”
Yup, I don’t like that they are there but I obey them anyway. Thankfully I only have one on my way to work so it’s not that bad. I have more of an issue with the dumb ass parents who will block a cross street because they MUST make that turn instead of wait a light cycle. It’s pretty common on the overpass I take.
LOL yeah there was a study IIC that going X under the limit is just as dangerous as going X over.
Interesting in Texas they all either have flashing orange lights, or the times when it is active posted, usually both. The “when children present” makes a lot more sense IMO. Like the one I mentioned on the feeder road, there is no reason to have one since no child, that I have ever seen, walks or bikes to it. Same…
lol ALSO dinner, just grab a paddle to get back to shore lol.
