For vintage stuff maybe not.  That’s kind of the good/bad about Japan, while it’s future forward a LOT of it is still very much in the past. Running across some tiny shop on a Tokyo side street selling some old vintage, in this case camera gear, isn’t out of the ordinary and they almost certainly don’t have a website

Like if we can have it where its mostly light from like 7 am to 7 ish pm I would be good. lol

You and me both I turned 16 in 1996, and I honestly do know if I saw a leaded gas pump since I was maybe 5 or 6. Like I remember them, same as I do pull tab sodas, but by the time I could drive I hadn’t seen one in AGES.

That’s the issue and considering EV’s have been a thing for almost 20 years the fact that finding an independent shop to do any work on one, especially the battery, is a bad trend. Things like motor replacement I am sure a lot of shops could do, it’s not terribly difficult I assume, but finding on to work on your

Fair I didn’t know the credit applied to used EV’s

Like I know someone died, but part of me still kind of wants to see a video of the car go flying.

This, granted EV’s have much fewer moving parts, but if ANYTHING goes bad with the battery you are screwed.  There are only a handful of places that will do something like cell replacements, there is only one in my entire county.

It absolutely looks nothing like the E type or even resembling it. Other than a long nose and short back end. I said it in another article but if you told me this was a concept for a new Rolls Royce EV sport coupe I would believe it. This IMO resembles nothing like a Jag, like at all.

Fair, and to be honest most people would likely not even know there was only a single pilot unless someone told them.

Well fair I was more referring to the time they were out.  But yeah tuff titty take the refund and move on.

This, at this point the pilot is really there to assure passengers and take over in an emergency. The VAST majority of the time a commercial airplane is in the air it’s being flown by auto pilot.

Right and the refund was IMO generous they got 14 of a 21 day cruise, so 2/3rd of what they paid for. And as you said, the alternative could have stranded EVERYONE.

LOL I would have assumed you would need to do something like that, depending on the year of the Beetle I wouldn’t think the alternator would have enough to drive much of any additional electrical load much less 15's.  Heck I wouldn’t be surprised if you just upgraded the standard stereo speakers if that wouldn’t kill

Oof I am surprised you could even power them lol.

go to an independent shop”

This is and always was 2 things, a way for the automakers to cheap out yet again, I assume AA and Carplay have some kind of licensing fees, and eventually a way for them to turn this into a subscription service. Are AA and Carplay perfect, no, but we literally already use our phones for EVERYTHING else. Like I would

So TIL, well last night I learned, Australia is actually REAL freaking strict when it comes to cars and modifications. The Vinwiki YouTube channel had a pretty interesting short video, like 8 or 9 minutes, with a guy telling stories about enforcement down under. Like if a cop spots something they just don’t like the

Thieves REARELY do, it becomes a drug at least until you get caught or killed.

I kind of wish we had these where I live for protected rights. I have one, a protected right, on my way to work that people constantly stop for.  Plus people trying to merge over from the left to my protected lane to get to a gas station when you can literally drive a couple hundred feet, which is nothing when

This he could have been killed on landing, or injured and then nature disappeared his remains.  There are both black and grizzly bears in Washington State that would have happily taken a free meal.
