You beat me to it lol
You beat me to it lol
Maybe so, maybe I and just baffled that people are or can be so utterly oblivious of what is going on around them. Like I know it happens, and I am not always super observant, but I am aware of where I am walking. Having said that I DID catch my foot on a small sign board at the taqueria this morning LOL
There isn’t a gate to close. It’s just a big open dirt area, if that is in fact where the hole was. So are they supposed to just rope off a dirt field, should any business that has open areas rope them off? Again if that is where it happened it’s reasonable to me, not that it matters, that there had not been an…
You very well might be right, but if the hole is where I think it is, it would be in an area they reasonably might not know there was a hole. I am not absolving the business, but if the hole was in the big dirt area between the dealer and the Sonic, I could believe there is no reason a random customer would be…
I would throw one caveat about the ‘Ring, first Ring times are just kind of dumb IMO. But the one thing I think the Ring has over many other places, is the sheer variety of conditions you can get in a single lap I have heard some people describe getting like 3 or 4 seasons in a single lap.
I mean tall grass is the ONLY reasonable reason I could see for not noticing a human sized hole. And the grass would have to be pretty tall at that. I feel for the guy I really do, and maybe I am just an odd duck is that I tend to stare at the ground in front of me when walking
I assume you are talking about the tree between the big Toyota sign and the road. Which looks to be sewer access, I can agree with you if they left the lid off, but if we are talking about the same thing that is HARD to not see.
There is a 3rd swivel gate just down and to the left of the green area, which is to me the “entrance” or at least first entrance. But I agree with you in that I think it was likely in the green area where he fell into the hole. And to me I think it’s not unreasonable to think a customer or anyone wouldn’t be wandering…
LOL, I looked the CAD map on the property and they do appear to have cars parked there in that image. Also maybe this is just me, unless the grass was very high, possible, how does someone just not SEE a 3 foot wide hole. Though I have made the same argument when it comes to women and the toilet seat being up, like…
that we don’t know, IMO I would consider the swivel gate further down closer to the Sonic to be the entrance, where there is a little “Welcome To” sign. To me is looks like that curved section of road may have been used to display cars. If its the gate you are thinking about then in that case they should reasonably…
the Kingon obviously. No I actually just looked it up and England didn’t switch to metric officially until 1965. I had just assumed, and we all know what happens when you do that, it had changed to metric a lot earlier than that.
Curious how this plays out. Though, looking at what I think is the location on Google Earth the swivel gate they refer to is like over 400 feet from what I would consider the “entrance” so I could understand how they might not reasonably expect a customer or anyone for that matter to be walking in the area.
Agreed, and the fact that her apparently minor daughter agreed to it, which in most area’s a minor can not agree to a contract which a TOS is. And in the same vein of a comment I made on the article about Disney, agreeing to something on one platform, Disney+, should NOT have any legal binding on a more or less…
“Chinese OEM’s don’t know how to make cheap, profitable cars... they’re just propped up by billions in government subsidies.”
lol pretty much.
Oh I know WHY they are so long lol, I deal with a lot of legal documents in my job, but it’s WHY people never read them and how companies can sneak in all kinds of language and wording that people would probably not agree to, or not understand due to legalease.
Literally every person who owns a car with launch control, but per your comment above you either forgot the /s or you should not be allowed to drive on public roads.
Oh I know, I think the OP was joking about dozen eggs like that’s something more unique to the US
China has spent about $230 billion since 2009 or about $15 billion a year.
I would be willing to bet if you dig into the TOS that literally no one outside of the attorneys who wrote is has EVER actually read them, that there is a forced arbitration clause in the majority of them, or something similar. I mean hell South Park called this out what a decade ago with the Human Centipad. If it was…
