Snug as a bug. The speaker was on Woot last week too, for $29, but it sold out again. The metal on both the bottle cage and the speaker work well together. Also, what loose shaking I anticipated was secured by looping the speaker tether into itself, and placing the broccoli rubber band over the unit.

I bought a Blue tooth speaker on Amazon that was the same width as a water bottle, then placed it in the front water bottle cage of my bike with a broccoli rubberband as an added security.
