While Kissinger may be a complete shitstain on humanity, the dude’s been in diplomacy for a long time. He can’t help but have learned a little something about plausible deniability, and that what’s not said often is much, much more important than what is.

This space has been traversed for nearly four months by Jared Kushner, whom I first met about 18 months ago, when he introduced himself after a foreign policy lecture I had given.

I’m glad that she has been found and I hope that she gets the counseling that she needs. This is an issue on which there can be no compromise. Up here in Canada, when Trudeau took over the Liberals he made it clear that anyone who was anti-choice should leave the party. There were a few grouchy op-eds about it, a few dissenters, however in the end it was accepted.

Can he just go away?

For someone who is not a Democrat, Sanders spends a lot of time dictating how the party should run.

It is the height of male privilege to decide that women’s issues aren’t a deal breaker.

But I think you just can’t exclude people who disagree with us on one issue.

I understand Bernie’s perspective, but women’s healthcare and reproductive rights is not a small issue. And treating it like it’s just it’s just “one thing” we don’t agree on, like they’re different flavors of ice cream and we can just “agree to disagree” as some say, is pretty bullshit reasoning. No bueno, Bernie.

He endorses a guy for mayor who’s had a history of being against women’s rights, but doesn’t endorse another guy because he has different ways of getting the income gap down. Both are in red districts, and so both are not going to be ideologically pure. The fuck do you want Bernie? You’re not even a Democrat so you…
