This is why Republicans always get into trouble when they try and cut budgets, simply because most of their base is dependent on government programs (especially Medicare and Social Security). So screaming about wasteful government elects them but once the rubes that voted them in realize they were talking about them…

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for defending Director-level and CEO-level positions in most companies - they’re often damned hard 70 hour+ weeks and essentially 24/7 on-call, at a level that is beyond the vast bulk of people.

So many CEO-type old men in this administration used to starting at 10am, going for a 2 hour lunch at 12, and being home by 4pm are suddenly discovering that the “public sector” they’ve mocked their whole lives doesn’t roll that way.

Him being drunk all the time would explain his press conferences.

I assume medical intervention also comes with an added price tag. So the cost of an abortion will go up on women who are likely unable to bear the cost. Great.

Funny, a large number of pro-life advocates show little to no indication that they possess anything greater than a brain stem, and yet nobody’s ever performed any medical intervention on them.

And send the bill to the mother, I’d imagine. Just what she needs after her difficult abortion: unnecessary crippling debt.

A 6 year old sacrificing her own wants and needs in order to take care of those less fortunate. Sounds like she’d make a better leader than many we have right now. It gives hope that the younger generation has thoughtful angels like this among them.

Just like all GOP. They controlled the entire government (like they do today) from 2000-2008. Look at the state of the country in 2008. Crashed economy, wars everywhere, trillions in debt, trillions in wealth wiped out. Yet instead of working with Democrats and cleaning up their messes, they actively opposed doing…
