It will have valves.

One more nail in the US road racing coffin. So few people get beIN and fewer have even fucking heard of it. You want to grow fan interest and ultimately drive butts to the track, you need to have a TV package people can actually get. God I love road racing, but they just continue to do stupid shit. I had such high

Haha. Although if I remember correctly, Ducati is owned by Lamborghini...which is owned by Audi...which is owned by Volkswagen AG.

It’s hard to beat a 2007-2008 Maserati Quattroporte with a proper ZF automatic transmission. Less than $30k for a car that originally stickered for over $110k, and still looks and sounds amazing nearly a decade later. As soon as I have the means, I will acquire one for myself. Here is a nice example:

Jag XK, it’s not even an old one.

A big problem with the people these days is the outrage culture. Here’s a cheat sheet for them:

Everyone has already told you how you should buy a blah blah blah. Here’s what you should do: buy a bike that gets you excited and makes you happy. Is it the best financial decision? No. But if you’re a car guy getting into motorbikes, any reason is good enough, and a lot of times those reasons are emotional.

That is a good looking bike. So much better than the Diaval. But what makes a cruiser - the forward controls? Otherwise this is just a muscle bike. A very nice muscle bike.

A $99 DOT helmet will protect you just as well, but it will feel like it cost $99 every time you put it on .

I’m sure it’s a great helmet, but this is entirely too many buzzwords to describe one product:

Unlike everyone replying “do you have a cheap head?” I will argue that no, you are not getting a huge safety advantage over a lower priced helmet in this range. You are paying for the details, weight and refinement. If you are racing or putting this thing on every day to commute, maybe a few less grams in weight,

I respectfully counter that any traffic so terrible that driving a car with a clutch is going to be a bad experience you’ll have a pretty awful time in just about any car.

plastic, so much plastic. I had a ducati for a few years, kids happened, but i remember i purchased it because it was naked.

Uh, I (and a whole ton of other people) raced a Suzuki SV 650 for years. I also did a ton of track days on it and, other than at courses with really long straights like Road America, had no problem staying with higher powered machines.

why would they? in the ‘60s the Detroit Four owned the market, and thought that would never end. Of all the shortsighted things they did back then, “not building motorcycles” is pretty far down on the list.

This is a very interesting story. It’s funny how the media tries to potray an image for certain people, and how later on those people follow that image that has been potrayed upon them.

I have this thing about buying a T shirt from every Harley Dealer I go to. I have a bout half a dozen from different locations I’ve traveled to.

I don’t like Harleys.
