They don't see why white pride is a bad thing if black pride is OK. They don't see the difference between hoisting a confederate flag and someone in South Texas…

I owe this show an apology. I really thought (based on ads) it was going to be some half-assed satire of the last ten years of American foreign policy. But they're actually telling a story of their own, and the dialogue is more sharp than smug. Pilot was pretty good, and I'll stick with it.

Yeah, it's not like there's anything inherently wrong with John Oliver, but people pretending that he (or Stewart or Colbert or [insert chic political comedian]) are actually doing anything remotely positive, other than providing entertainment, just drives me up a wall.
