I think she curates the hell out of what people think is her life, and in return, we don’t really know much of anything about her actual life.

I would have to disagree. Would it have been great if Taylor had publicly supported Clinton over Trump? Yes. But honestly, anyone who allows their vote to be swayed because of what their favorite celebrity said to do probably shouldn’t have been voting in the first place.

She posted one ambiguous picture that might tease new music (which all artists do) on a completely cleaned social media slate and from that, you deduced that she’s going to play the victim in some perceived continued narrative?

Of course he called her during the funeral. Either he was too dumb to realize that much of the country was busy watching the funeral on TV or he intentionally called during that time so he didn’t actually have to talk to her.

Who could have predicted that the president, when given 140 characters to describe a woman who died defending her city from fascists that the adjectives he would use would begin with “beautiful” and not include “brave” or “strong” or “principled” or “righteous”? Oh, everybody could have predicted that? Oh. Okay.

That was the first thought I had when I saw his response to the Barcelona attack. He couldn’t respond fast enough to an attack by presumed ISIS terrorists on foreign soil but can’t say fuck all when a domestic terrorist (at least the obviously white, Christian and right-leaning ones) commits murder on our own soil?

It doesn’t matter- Trump’s followers are too stupid to understand that the Pershing story is bullshit and those that do just don’t care.
