I think people just like to hate on hipsters.
I think people just like to hate on hipsters.
If I didn’t despite cold shoulder tops in general, I’d probably buy it at that price too :p
Oh I’m positive that it was exactly that, but it was so out of the blue, like we literally hadn’t spoken since she ghosted me after skipping my wedding. I politely declined the invitation and asked for an address to send a gift, which she never provided, so in the end, I didn’t even do that.
A few months ago, a girl that I used to be really close friends with but lost touch with years ago (when she didn’t show up to my wedding she rsvp’d yes to and then never returned any of my calls or texts afterwards) texted me to invite me to her destination wedding (that was in 4 weeks). I was like...um, what?
It makes me very sad that this advice isn’t wrong right now.
That sounds terrible!
That sounds like my worst nightmare.
Oh man, that is terrible but also kind of hilarious about the dog?
Not at all defending her crazy rants. Just that I can sympathize with her on that one aspect. That whole rant was super messy and makes me want to run far away and burn all the computers.
Yea, lesson learned there, it was a horrible place to work. In the 2 weeks before I left, 2 other people also left - our department only had 5 people to begin with, so 3 people leaving in 3 weeks is pretty crazy.
This chick is messy as hell. That said, I recently left a job where the owners were a husband and wife team, he was the president, she was the HR manager, and it was dysfunctional as hell, so I do sort of feel her on that one thing and that one thing only.
No such luck at least here in Colorado - he’s a nice person and likeable, but he’s very centrist and has sold out Colorado to oil and gas interests at every turn.
Franken/Harris or Franken/Gillibrand are basically my dream tickets right now.
So I guess we should just ignore the fact that these are members of the party that doesn’t believe in even basic, common sense gun safety regulations and keeps voting to take away peoples health care? I guess we are supposed to what, just blindly offer our thoughts and prayers and not notice the rank hypocrisy on…
I’m in the same boat.
IDK, maybe you have had the misfortune to work in some dysfunctional situations. In 10 years working in offices I have literally never encountered a situation like what you just described. Not to say that office politics don’t exist, obviously they do, but not in that kind of malicious way.
100% agree.
