I said all this stuff and you are quoting me word for word.

The long evidence of success and the resources to produce quality products argument.

Okay.

Nope, you're being a dick. That's me being honest. Sorry if you don't like it.

Yes, and, as I have said multiple times now, the lacking functionality is why it can't compete with Google Maps. Want me to say it again? Will it help you? The lacking functionality can't compete with Google Maps.

No.

Aaaand Shazam did it better and first which is what Apple is using. Plus it's better integrated. Moving on...

Oh I get it. You're just a dick.

Why do you keep replying to me twice? For someone who likes complicated things, you seem pretty simple.

Wrong? As an Apple user I guarantee you it's easier to use. All my map stuff is inherently based off of Apple Maps. How is that not easier?

Did you just respond to this twice? Calm your tits.

That is why. Why is complicated good? It's my buddy who is a Linux fanatic. Yeah, he can do cool things. And if I wanted to spend countless hours on the technical side of a computer, I could make a Linux do cool things to.

My point isn't that it's radically different or better. It's that they now have the resources and user base to make it practical from a financial level so now they can take full advantage of it.

Well it's Apple, it's either magic unicorn piss or regular old horse piss depending on who you talk to.

This isn't for people who don't want to pay, essentially. I'm fine with paying $4 a month to have access to all my pictures, files, projects, etc seamlessly from any Apple device.

Because this is, like every other Apple product, easier. I can go to spotlight, type in whatever the heck I want on any Apple device I own, and it's there. And it looks good. And it works smoothly. And I don't need to think.

And equal paid space...? And it's integrated into the massive Apple infrastructure? Spotlight functionality alone makes it better to me than Google Drive. Sheesh.

iDisk was too early. The resources and user base wasn't there. That's changed now. This is a much more seamless usage of cloud storage than iCloud or Dropbox or Google Drive or whatever.

They didn't even mention innovation in the keynote. It was a good move on their part, and they have a great infrastructure to implement it on. Also, it's better integrated than the alternatives, if not simply because of the sheer number and variety of apple products.

I know, right? I can't believe all they mentioned was translucent designs! They didn't add anything like synced phone functionality and cross platform syncing and cloud storage or anything! At all!
