Seconded with gusto. I’m glad we got the equivalent of three full-sized games when taking the seasons as a whole, even that is miraculous, but I thirst for more. Wouldn’t mind another Monkey Island, either. Or Strong Bad... gah, I miss TTG.

Honestly, while nu-metal had more misses than hits (quality-wise, that is... obviously there were radio hits a-plenty), I don’t think it deserves the level of shit that’s heaped on it.
I feel like, as older millennials, we (at least, a considerable percentage of us, don’t want to leave my privilege unchecked... I can’t deny that the 90s were a shitty time for many) got a taste of that sense of security growing up through the 90s, and then also spent some of our formative years in the more tumultuous …
Oh man, the fun of being a PC gamer kid in the US during the Nintendo/Sega war. Everyone gushing over Mario and Sonic while I’m sitting there like “... Commander Keen is cool, too!” and getting side-eyed like I’m making game titles up, haha. I was so happy to finally get a Game Boy so I could at least talk about Mario…
I’m still waiting for Telltale to miraculously come back to life and somehow convince BLOM to let them make a Scott Pilgrim series. I’m sure it’ll happen any day now. ... aaaany day now.
The internet hasn’t been okay since the day two computers were first networked together.
Ooh, do you have a channel? I’d watch that!
This this this. I’m not immune to it, “How, Sway!?” and “Scoopety poop” are part of my lexicon as well, but the shit’s gotta stop.
I love these guys, they’re a good example of why I like (good) reaction channels, but it’s so bizarre to see articles about them. Of course, the concept of watching people listen to music is bizarre on its own when I really think about it, so I guess it fits.
So it’s exactly what I was worried it would be. Shame. Maybe it’ll grow into itself once the writers get the whole “This ain’t your daddy’s Star Trek! Wahey!” angle out of their systems.. I actually like the concept, but it’s a tricky one to pull off.
I’m more concerned about those who *don’t* blast Dookie now and then. (also, I just realized that “modern” Green Day has been around twice as long as “classic” Green Day at this point... fuck)
To this very day, the existence of Toxic Crusaders baffles me. Of all the R-rated movie children’s cartoon adaptations, this is the one that seemed the most ill-advised. And I’m so happy it exists.
I’ve always wondered how much the Drew Carey Show spent overall in licensing fees.
Even getting rebooted didn’t slow him down. That doll has moxie, I must say!
As a kid I always had to pee when I went to the bookstore. And I loved the bookstore, so it happened a lot. Just step in, and have to step out two minutes later because my bladder is suddenly full. Weirdest damned thing.
There are very good services out there that will help you deprogram from your cult. Would you like a contact list?
For a second I thought this was going to relate to the upcoming Wishbone movie. Now I really want a talking dog cinematic universe.
I’m cool with it this once, the first story was so heartbreaking that I don’t care if the thief got one over on them as long as the bear was returned.
... The point was that it would be strange to see, since Disney is hyper-protective of their character’s image and family friendliness. Kinda like, y’know, Nintendo.
Goddammit, I’m going to miss Regis. That was such a great moment.
