Yes! Much like how even bad pizza is good pizza (save for the true trash, obviously), bad horror can still manage to be canonized as iconic. It’s not even a matter of low standards, it’s just that the genre has so much more leeway than most. Better yet, the indie horror scene still hasn’t shed that punk filmmaker DIY…
Frasier and Niles, through a mishap involving spilled sherry, a slippery floor, and a voodoo curse, end up merging into one nightmarish being known as “Friles”. Friles spends their days trying to make it in high society despite literally being a twitching mass of flesh that can only groan “Ammm Frilesss”. Adding to…
As somebody who has lived their life in crippling fear of a giant blue Will Smith pointing at me, I find the header image to be quite cathartic in an aversion therapy way.
On Cinema is a damn masterpiece.
A sequel? I was hoping for Das Reboot.
Sure, why not. I’m a sucker for these dumb movies.
... Huh. There’s almost a surrealist quality to how *off* this all is. Like, I can’t even begin to point out everything wrong with this, because a lot of it I’m not even sure how to describe.
I tried to use Harden, but that just got me put on a list.
I have a strict “One Emma per movie” rule, so this’ll be right out.

Well yeah. He also has no idea how politics work, how planes work, how magnets work, how food works, how tans work, how hair works... I mean, I could go on.
Ugh, that’s insane. The rise of Nick throughout the 90s is endlessly fascinating to me, and the downfall afterwards endlessly depressing. Not unlike MTV, fittingly.
Yeah, I had all but written them off as “We won’t see these any time soon, maybe they’ll get leaked in a few years”.
There’s a joke to be made about “Bill Gaines” and “Magainze”, but I just woke up and I can’t quite workshop it.
I’m kind of excited to see his reality-rejecting tantrum next year. (only kind of, because the way shit’s been going, I’m not convinced that he won’t actually get his four more years :/ )
It’s only in the past year that I realized that they aren’t an emo band, and I still have to remind myself of that whenever I see them mentioned.
“More of the same” is exactly what I want from Borderlands, at least for now. BL4 might have to change things up a bit more to stay interesting, but for now, I’m all about just playing another one of these.
