I have to agree. As much as Robin was my favorite character, until Victoria came along, the writers only showed any kind of real interest and invested any character development in the "I'm not like other girls" cool-girl types like Robin and Lily: conventionally pretty but not too "girly"; like drinking and cursing

The Thanksgiving episodes, Barney's ridiculous workplace, Robin Sparkles, Marshall dealing with his dad's death, Robin coming to terms with never having kids (Cobie KILLED me in that ep), all of those were stellar standouts for me. Robin was always my favorite.

Agreed on Dexter, but it's a tie with HIMYM for me.

Agreed. People bitched and moaned about the LOST finale, but that ending was always a possibility, and even though there were some rough patches and Jack was usually unbearable, there was so much that was intricate and well-played and just plain crazypants good throughout the run that it's an enjoyable rewatch

"It's sort of like when you're in someone's wedding though."

I disagree somewhat. The script has been playing to Tobias' (many) strengths as an actor, while it has done a disservice to Sam's. We have seen bits of Warrior Jamie and Sexy Jamie and even Humorous Jamie, but except for episodes 11, 15, and 16 (in which he was amazing, IMO) the script hasn't fleshed out his character

Ugh. "Both Sides Now" was the episode that made me angry last season. Otherwise, I was almost unanimously happy with the changes they made.

I think Dragonfly is the shortest book in the series, or at least the shortest after Outlander. And by cutting out or condensing some of the 20th-century stuff (some of which could be covered in Voyager if they get renewed for a third season) they could easily fit the important bits into 13 episodes. Cutting

Agreed. Tobias is an amazing actor so I understand them wanting to give him more screen time, but a lot of the time spent on "Frankbacks" in season one would have been better spent elsewhere, IMO. On Jamie and Claire together, on Lallybroch, etc.

Roger is my favorite. <3

One minor point: I wouldn't call Mrs. Graham an "old woman." She's still pretty spry. More late-middle-age, maybe. ;-)

My assumption was that gold coins are more valuable.

I really want more Hank-oriented stories, please. Russell Hornsby seems capable of much more than they give him to do.

"I'm going to need wigs. I was super-popular in this city. Everyone knew me and thought I was cool. Also I went to my job a lot."

But I think they hinted at killing off a "major character? this season? If so, I fear it will be Renard since they have pulled him out of the gang lately. And then I will be extremely upset.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is the reason why I have never watched Buffy, despite all of my friends insisting I would like it.

I feel like Adalind was the female lead on and off. She had her own storylines, whereas Juliette never really did except for the amnesia (ugh) and turning into a Hexenbiest.

Except for Sam Neill, Jeremy Northam, and Maria Doyle Kennedy, The Tudors was unwatchable.

Nadalind. It has to be Nadalind.

I could watch a whole episode of just those three in the cabin. The silent looks that Donovan quickly gives the knife wounds, then Plemons, then Dunst made me roar with laughter. Perfectly executed.
