I clicked it last week. I have no shame.

Don't be ashamed. Tom Mison has wicked good comic timing. He earns every chuckle.

Two quickie explanations I found:

Yes. Oh, those Brits. They just pronounce everything their own damned way. But Mison makes it endlessly charming, and I want to giggle girlishly every time he says it. ;-)

Not necessarily, no. Lots of Dutch and Germans, some French. And, within the British contingent, plenty of Irish and Scots, both of whom had little reason to love England.

Yes, I could hear my friends who live near Concord screaming at this all the way in Philly. ;-)

"What's insane is a 10% levy on baked goods!"

Well, if they have a witch's spell on them, sure. ;-)

I think that historical dress is his sweet spot. He was completely adorable as Mr. Bingley in the British mini-series Lost in Austen a few years ago.

Genius observation.

"that Pan's Labyrinth castoff monster"

Actually, I think he was alarmed, but he played it so subtly. Go back and look again. His eyes get VERY big in that passenger seat when she starts driving. ;-)

True. Never underestimate the appeal of an appealing leading man. :-)

That would be AWESOME! Sleepy Hollow, make it happen!

That was legit creepy.

Hahaha! That was me with John Cho. Dang, why you gotta do that?

Despite historical inaccuracies, sketchy mythology, a few unintentionally hilariously melodramatic lines/moments, and an overfull plot, I really enjoyed most of Sleepy Hollow.

Yes, she did a nice job with that little hot sauce bit, and also with the silent conversation with the maintenance guy at the end. That made me laugh.

Some of us watch TV via streaming, not cable. I saw zero promos. Found out about the show from Entertainment Weekly, saw "Andre Braugher" and "Parks and Rec creators" and was sold. :-)

Yes, but Andy was and is not the protagonist of Parks, whereas Peralta is poised right now to be the protagonist of B99. I can tolerate more man-child idiocy and bravado in a supporting character that we see in small but hilarious doses than I can in a leading one that we see in almost every scene.
