This show has become like a Richard Curtis movie for me. As with Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, and Love Actually, I couldn't care less about the main characters, the ones we're supposed to root for. It's the supporting characters, the friends, who make it worth watching.

Yes, I was a little disappointed that the name Renard (and what appears to be reddish/chestnut hair) didn't pan out into a fox character. But I guess he is still wily, like a fox. And certainly foxy in every other aspect, too. ;-)

I did notice a lot of Native (or pseudo-Native) symbols on that animal skin they had hanging from the rafters in the barn.
