At my wife’s library, they had a recent kidnapping of a toddler. Fortunately, they nabbed the guy an hour later. The positive side effect is that parents are less likely to drop their kids off at the library as free daycare now.

He’ll probably want to do something that puts him in prison. (Enter your own democratic voter joke here - Not sure why I put that there or why the opposite was in the article. Guess it’s just a Gawker staple.)

I was a page at the library, and after storytime was the absolute WORST. The parents would be socializing with each other while their toddlers screamed and played tag. I preferred unsupervised, after-school teenagers to those little monsters.

My Mom was a nurse in the 60’s who worked in pediatrics for a while. She got this one kid as a patient whose father was a psychiatrist. Whenever the nurses told the kid to do anything, the kid would say “Don’t force me. You’ll upset me.”

I’m old enough to remember when the phrase “children having children” referred strictly to teenage pregnancies. Seems these days it could apply to 30-year-old first-wave Millennials.

I liked this movie better when it was an episode of Futurama.

Sandler plays Brenner, a former arcade superstar back in the mid-’80s whose life, predictably, has become a failure

yo can we talk about how funny kit was on Seven Days in Hell

1) Where’s the strawman? Are you arguing black lives only matter when they’re taken by a white police officer?

Greg, can you provide more than ad hominem when decrying this statement? Thx

I’m not a fan of SAS at all, but I don’t see the problem with the tweet. Please enlighten me.

It’s better than “Las Vegas Ragged Showgirl Who Looks About 55 Giving A Handjob In The Tropicana Parking Lots”....

Tough to claim you’re on the right side of history when you just outed and gay-shamed a man and his family for no reason at all.

Great point, didn't think about it like that. I guess I was confused since Deadspin REPOSTED the article to their blog as well. But tell me more about apples and oranges please.

You know, I thought so, too. And then I read this:

Ît never ceases to amaze me that so many people feel so qualified to comment on complex issues without even doing a minimal amount of research into what is actually going on. If you really think this judge us acting in a vacuum then you have no real experience in family court. Why the hell aren’t you taking a good

Man, that article is just terribly written. Nevermind the bias, it's just a crap piece of writing.

Oh please. Your attack on the male gender is reaching new heights. A judge can do whatever they want, and if the mother is spewing crap about the father to the kids, the judge has every right to ensure the scales are balanced. It’s called justice.
