A 5-speed S14 with longevitiy mods, a crackless dash, and a clean interior is great at $7,500. I’d like to get him down to $7k, but wouldn’t blame him at all if he would just sit on it until he got full asking. A beat down version of this car can pull $4500-$5k. $2500 more for an interior, tires that have full life in

I work in telehealth and we have thousands of COVID patients we monitor at home for fever, blood oxygen levels, pulse rate. I have had to call 911 multiple times with pulse rate high, blood oxygen in low 80's, and no fever. They develop ARDS without warning and can barely make it to unlock the door for EMTs. It is

I think what Ford was doing for low cost Mercury models in Canada were the most interesting Canada-exclusive models. They still wanted to look nicer than Fords, even if they only existed because the only dealer in a small town had a Mercury line. The 1961 Meteor still has one of my favorite rear ends.

Counterpoint: they make for the most beautiful of F-1 examples.

NP! If I had $30K to blow on a classic truck I think it would be worth it just for the double takes, long confused looks and groups of strangers gathered round every time I get back to the parking lot. In my rural area classic trucks are like a religion and this would make you a high priest or a saint.

Then you’ll love this.

3000 lbs of concrete probably doesn’t have the awful aerodynamic profile of this thing. I’ve heard hauling an RV described as essentially pulling a sail down the road. The weight is far less important than the aerodynamics.

I CAN’T HEAR THE SOUNDS OF YOUR REASONABLE CONCERNS ABOUT THINGS LIKE “SAFETY” AND “LOAD CAPACITY” OVER THE RUMBLE OF MY SWEET SWEET RAPTOR.

One advantage of a slide-in is that when you get home you can remove the slide-in and then you have the usability of a pickup, whereas a Sprinter would be a dedicated vehicle.

Sweden has more than double the number of cases as the other nordic countries. And their culture naturally is more cleanly and socially distant than ours. That’s a bad comparison.

Sweden really, REALLY has NOT been successful. Their cases per capita and their fatality rates are both quite bad compared to their neighbors who took a different route. - Data: https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html

It’s almost like they have different writers who are free to express their personal interests.

We should have moved to protect the most vulnerable in our society and let everything else go on (mostly) as usual, in order to establish herd immunity.

Jalopnik: TOO MANY TRUCKS. TRUCKS TOO EXPENSIVE.  NO ONE USES TRUCKS FOR TRUCK STUFF

I wouldn’t call several times higher death rate than neighboring countries a success.

In all honesty it’s not THAT BAD of a price if you think about it solely in the realm of performance SUVs. They’re a relatively modern phenomenon and are mostly reserved for the luxury segment of the market. And in that context, this stands out as a relatively decent deal. If we look at it just as a car, then screw

Great review. I bought one last summer when my BMW R1150r chewed up and spat out its transmission.

The crowds wont hear it coming.
