Dissent from gender ideology (not just the transgender stuff, but the establishment’s view of what men and women are)
And, well, all of those adjectives can be used to describe a good person, regardless of gender.
To be fair, it’s not all PC codswallop, but given the social justice warrior jargon throughout, I suspect this is mostly about psychologizing the gelding of American males.
Masculinity doesn’t have to be toxic. You can be a good man and be strong, intelligent, compassionate, confident, timid, unsure, head-strong, etc. And still be a solid, man-of-your-word ‘stand-up man’. The problem is men that are NOT gentleman aren’t teaching young how to be all of those things combined.
If you read something as anodyne as “men should be able to express their feelings” as a personal attack, then you’re part of the problem.
This happened to a cousin of mine who was in a near-vegetative state for years, following an accident. He’s no longer comatose, but is pretty badly brain-damaged, and his mother had to raise his twin daughters (who are now in their 20s) and still cares for him. The nurse in question was fired, but as this was a few…
“Second of all people in comas can’t even go to the bathroom”
Tbh, I was shocked that this wasn’t already their standard policy... I mean, I’m typically able to speak for myself, but there is always a female present in the room during medical procedures when I’m vulnerable or incapacitated... so why wasn’t this being done for her already? I realize facilities are usually underst…
This is not sexual abuse. This is rape. Full stop. That poor woman and her baby. Everyone has their own end-of-life preferences, but this reminds me that I should look into what medical directives I could put in a living will now in case of an unexpected catastrophe. The Harvard brain bank needs my brain more than me.
So ok. She was raped. Nothing else can be possible. She cant say yes to something if she cant even speak. And she didnt climb herself on somebody, thats for sure. So thats the first WTF!
“bring a female attendant in” is not a solution! It would undoubtedly lead to very low paid (definitely part-time) female workers who are there as tokens and not actual bulkheads against abuse. Frankly, the entire place should be shut down for not noticing in her day-to-day care and vital signs that she was pregnant.…
That “Male staff may only enter a female room with a female staff member” policy is going to last about five minutes, tops. Nursing homes are already massively understaffed, they’re not going to be able to spare an extra staff member for that, there will be a lot of “just this once” and “whatever, I trust you”.
If I were a man on that staff I would insist on having my DNA sampled to prove that it wasn’t me.
Wait.
A patient in a vegetative state at a nursing facility in Arizona gave birth on December 29, CBS News reports. Phoenix police are currently investigating the incident as a possible sexual abuse case.
I guess all the “Every baby is a blessing” people will be coming out of the woodwork now. How does this not make them queasy af? Oh, wait, it’s because they already think of women as incubators with no agency.
This story is shocking.
DNA test the baby and the male staff.
