I used to work in medical records and would be there overnight in a silent office off of the main hospital. No one around unless I walked down a long silent hallway into the main facility. I had an encounter similar to this. I hate being in empty office buildings, especially after hours.

Do you say anything to the people who rented it to?  Nothing quite like a haunted cabin. Ive been in that area of Shasta and it always feels a little...off.

Where I grew up there are a lot of little towns dotting the mountains. I loved driving up through the forests and checking out historical bridges, small quaint towns with less than 20 citizens and most of all cemeteries.
