Should probably point out that this is a criticism related to many of the Atari devs being newly-rich, coked-out, sexual harassers and rapists. And that it was made by the guy who cleaned the company up.

Whoa, whoa, whoa there. We’re not talking about stealing baseball cards as a kid or lying about being sick and skipping work. Sure, no one is perfect, but the level of difference between a lazy person and a sexual predator is GRAND.

I have been incredibly impressed with the restraint people have in the face of these bigots. I haven’t personally come across anything like this myself but if I did I don’t know if I’d be able to handle it with any sort of class or calm. I’d like to think I would, but just watching this crap gets my blood boiling.…

So a dude with more money than most people see in their lives chose to take advantage of economically-disadvantaged individuals for the sake of some anti-Semitic “humor,” and is now surprised that there are consequences that go with that kind of behavior.
