I totally disagree with your idea of "acceptable argument". Not that I think it's wrong. It is a totally valid point. But that's not what people here are discussing, neither most of us are preaching any kind of boycott.

I personally (and most people I know that debate those issues) don't go the way you follow. I'm not saying violence and/or sexualization in games are generating development issues, but that there is nothing wrong in debating things that we consider issues be it in the real world, be it in the virtual world.

It didn't sound like an angry rant or that you hate women, don't worry :P

This! Here we also use it to refer to guys that didn't learn how to deal with girls (or with people in general) and, because of that, developed some misogynistic behavior and opinions.

There are also those who think that both violence and women sexualization are real issues. What you pointed may be true in some cases but it's a "false dichotomy" in general.

Dude, I don't know you, so I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but I got this impression that you are falling here in this chart:

The art portrays ultra sexualized female traits (I'd call it "how 14 year old boys would perceive "female traits""). The thing some guys here seem to forget is that the critics here are made based on the context we live, because games are not isolated from the world inside social vacuums. The game is propagating one

"Objectify" is the term you are looking for. Which is kind of like "dehumanize".

So, like, we have this tortoise...

Ok. I get why people get pissed when many other people decide to hop on their boat. I think. But after that initial "hey I'm not so special anymore", I don't get why rational people can still be afraid of it.

All I can imagine is this thing fried. Must be delicious.

Well, at least you will be able to watch TV, DVDs and Blu-Rays... with sytle!

Well, you are right. There is something that can be called "African-American culture", but it has nothing to do with all these stereotypes people tend to assign to black people nowadays and has more to do with cultural shock that happened in the past. That's not my area of expertise though.

I don't know where you are from, so maybe that's true for your reality...

Now playing

I totally love Hitman Absolution's story mode main menu screen.

For me, the best "title screen" in Cross was the one after you press start, with the zoomed running Kid. It was totally avant-garde for that time.

I love this one I've found on Reddit during all that fuss over the official game cover.

You, sir, nailed it.

I'd hate to see what a 10 means for him. Sounds like that kind of guy that goes berserk when the new title of his favorite franchise gets a 9.5.

I think Last Remnant is an enjoyable game, but for me is not even close to be something great or really memorable despite its interesting battle system.
