Even though I don't think Saga gets even close to be as go as Gears, I still love it.

I kind of like the way think and I totally agree that devs should make games the way they want, or like the Arena Net guys like to say: "Devs should make the game they want to be playing".

They make male leads because it's safe, which is kind of lame.

I'll just add "ad hominem" to the list and all will be fine.

Thanks for making my points clearer and sorry for not being so precise.

I'm completely fine with the idea of preference, and hence applying something similar to that in the intention of choosing a mate. Like you said, it's an individual process and it's beyond other people to argue with that.

"A women's story in such a case would very well involve rape, sexual abuse, sexual manipulation, and other traits associated with that gender and violence in male-dominated social spheres."

She has problems, she acknowledges them and therefore ignores them. And that's not something nice at all. It's like those people that get easily irritated, go into berserk mode for some stupid reason and after that is all "sorry, guys. But that's just how I am...". So change it, for the gods' sake!

Do want! A pity that in my local currency that's still a bit too much for me :(

Console vs PC war is totally retarded but your statement manages to go beyond.

I should have gotten that awesome deal on Green Man Gaming :(((((

And you know what else do I miss? The artistic thing most of the great JRPGs used to have.

But even though I do like the Mass Effect series, I can't connect to any character to save my life. I just hate this blockbuster movie mood that game has which makes me see the game as a soulless experience.

I suggest that you use some of your time to read about logical fallacies like the "straw man" you used here (Wikipedia is your friend).
