I get where you’re coming from, but seriously, the Allroad is the WORST car made. Even my old B5 S4 could be considered more “reliable” in comparison to this. This is NOT the Audi you want. VW / Audi from this late 90s to early 2000s era were definitely worth the bitching.

Audis are very reliable.

These are a crack pipe at free. Hell, its still a bad deal if the seller offered to give you $2k to take it away. You cant work on them yourself (unless youre a masochist) and they break every time you even think about driving it. Worst car Audi has made in the past.....lifetime. Stay away. Far far away.

This piece is being sold by “Mark’s Discount Truck and Auto Sales.” That alone gives me pause along with the statement at the top. This motor doesn’t have a great reputation for reliability, and the vehicle has too many hints concerning the lack of care it has had throughout its life. CP Mahk.

I don't think you read the last paragraph nor the corresponding links.

That level of masochistic lunacy is more the realm of David Tracy.

This is what competition is. You *compete* for customers, either in price, or service quality or both.

It’s a wonder gas stations can ever stay afloat, what, with their prices advertised so prominently and all.

Better to avoid the whole situation and lose the sale ahead of time.

But what’s the alternative? Me taking my business elsewhere. Either you might lose my business through me shopping around, or you will lose my business by not giving me what I ask for. Which one gets you a better chance of making money?

I think part of the reason Uber and Lyft are able to keep soldiering on is that there’s a seemingly inexhaustible supply of hard-up folks that are willing to give it a try, often in spite of the horror stories they’ve heard.  You’ve got to think that that supply of labor will dry up sooner than later.

A car sitting in a garage makes 0 horsepower.

Pretty sure he meant HIS Charger - not the new one.

My 68 Olds has discs up front and drums in the back - it nearly killed me going down a mountain when those puppies overheated and I barely got the thing stopped.  First gear all the way down the hill at 4 in the morning.

Anyone driving an Army green or Desert Storm tan colored truck who didn’t serve in the military is a poseur, and anyone who drives one who has served is vain.

am i also a poseur for carrying a pocket knife all the time?

Really? To tell you the truth, in all the years I’ve sold cars, I can count in my hand how many times a person came in and specifically used the manufacturers paint color name, rather than simply said they wanted a green or blue truck. Most people buy those colors because they like how it looks on the vehicle, not

It’s just a color name, and it’s a good color. The issues you bring up have merit generally, but you’re stretching in this case.

Adult here. I grew up on Transformers, TTM was a seminal moment in my childhood, this thing is really cool, and I have the money.

If an adult can justify *literally any luxury that is expensive period*, then an adult can justify a $600 toy.

When someone buys their fourth car, no one asks if that 30,000$ purchase was justified. It’s a hobby. Chill :)
