I feel like I could find some donks out there that are inherently dangerous. It’s the same no matter what car modifications you are talking about. Some people do them wrong, some people do them right.

Same, 2000 A6 with K03's. Bought the car cheap because one turbo shaft sheared, the other turbo had already been replaced once and was on it’s way out. These turbos on the C5 2.7 do, in fact, fail. And they are fun to replace. Completely stock tiptronic car.
That’s a ridiculous example. Take the same 454 in the first part with an aftermarket tuned efi system and actually be able to make power from 1000 - 5000 RPM vs 2500-3500.
Max power maybe. Not nearly as fine tune-able over the entire rpm range. Also, not a match for fuel efficiency. That statement is just absurd. I like carbs, don’t get me wrong. But they are what they are.
The tax bill is gonna be killer. Small price to pay comparatively though.
Which is actually based on an old commercial. Does the fact that I remember when this commercial was on TV make me old. Hmmmm
I have a buddy that was prying on a ball joint with a large flat blade screwdriver. The screwdriver slipped and went into his eyeball. Went right through his cornea. This was while working at a used car lot as a mechanic. Suffice to say, he has about 10% vision out of that eye after surgeries. Moral of the story: use…
I smell a Bernd Reuters inspired volksrod build in my future... mmmmmm.
Also, you can clearly see it is turbo by following the piping. Piping to the intercooler in front is where the supercharger would have been.
Looks like a PG (G60) motor, but there is no G60 Charger in the bay.
