Hockey: If it is tied after the 3rd period in the regular season, you have a 5 minute overtime followed by a shootout if necessary. In the playoffs it can go all night as you suggested, but remember that hockey also allows unlimited substitutions. Soccer has THREE.

“Imagine if this one sport adopted rules from a completely different sport to decide the outcome.”

In reality, that 98% tuned in because they know Hart is really just Green in disguise, and they of all people aren’t going to fall for that shit.

I’m certainly not a Higuain apologist, but I will never understand how he was judged to have fouled Neuer on that play.

Did ya miss this paragraph?

Second best player? I could see him being the second most important, because CB and captain, but I’d give Ramsey or even - gasp - Joe Allen the title of second best player over Williams.

That’s not how his name is spelled. Are you new around here?

I don’t really think the positioning of the wall was the problem. Also, if you’re a left footed player on the left side of the field, your window is almost always going to be around the wall and to the near post - not sure what makes you think otherwise.

It might sound strange to say, but instinct, positioning, and experience are all qualities that are just as important as the ones you listed that don’t necessarily deteriorate with age. Being able to trust your judgement and knowing what players are thinking as they come at you is, so very often, as crucial as just

Track and Cycling would have to be up there, right? Because the action is not necessarily around you, it’s either in front or behind. For the most part, basketball and football are played in front of you, baseball is pretty much moot, and then I would maybe give honorable mention to hockey and soccer.

Likewise as a keeper on the defensive end. He would stand flat-footed, pull the ball down out of the air one-handed, and laugh at Fellaini in equal parts “bro, that hair?” and “bro, get real.”

Kisses!

I listened to First Take this morning specifically to hear what Skip Bayless had to say about Irving and his finals MVP credentials after his tweets last night.

I wasn’t going to be that guy, but then you did it twice.

Totally with you. I think there is a bit of unfortunate circumstance though because that accomplishment was over the course of 38 games. And while that itself should actually make it more impressive, it’s not a singular coup de grace like a game 7.

If you find it, please post it. The one I’m thinking of was deleted a long time ago and I was never able to find it again.

Liverpool fan here, but you’re absolutely right. I remember seeing a video that someone put together that morphed from black and white to color as the winner was scored and there was background music from I think Sigur Ros and Coldplay (I know, I know). I still get chills just thinking about it.

Leicester City has to be up there.

Because they are the chief rivals to the United States and a disproportionate amount of their fans who attend games are fucking repulsive.*
