First real life began reading like an Onion headline, now it’s turned into a Simpsons episode...

its literally a box on the license application you can click. when i went for my permit in 1999, i registered at the same time, and i wasn’t even 18 yet.

No shit, I literally spent an hour the other night observing and taking photos of the nocturnal cross orb-weaver that built a web between my wall and my side view mirror. Talk about a beautiful arachnid right there. 90% sure she’s living in my car now, but I’ll only know when I actually get in tonight.

Aren’t they saying that “30 is the new 20" now? Its all good!

One of the peeves in my neighborhood is people “discovering” local ethnic food...like, a restaurant isn’t really there until the college kids “approve it” and “spread the word.” It gets so bad that they frequently disparage locals who point out that their wild “discoveries” have been there for decades, we all know

“Liked” because you see and acknowledge. Which I wish so many more people did.

I love how he brought up “being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass.” I can not tell how many times I’ve heard people say atrocious things then blame it on their mental health issues.

As a person of Irish descent this is fucking insulting. Change your slave names please if u have so much pride.

My SO and I are literally waiting until my mother dies because she refuses to just let us go down to the courthouse. No ceremony, no reception, just paperwork and we are married. That’s all we want, her folks are 100% down with it, but my mother throws a shit fit whenever we say that.

My mom would get every other word. She knows what a Switch is. And she knows what the con is. She’s heard me use the term “okami” before, but not in relation to the game...

It’s still con season, and I’m at Wizard World in Chicago. But my nights have been spent on my Switch, where I’m discovering how gorgeous Okami is in HD.

I love how Dave fell back on the “overly sensitive snowflake” insult, when he’s the one offended enough to write an actual letter about how wrong someone is. I’d wonder if he saw the irony, but we all know he didn’t.

Im in Chicago right now, and I love being here.

Sensitive? Yes.

i had zero idea that’s how your name was pronounced, and now I feel like an idiot...

longstanding tradition of telling someone with less power to “do something this way if you want results,” then changing the rules and making a thousand excuses when they do. Insert comments about “fairness” or “attitude” when they point out the hypocrisy. Finish it off with “well this is why you’re not getting what

While im in DC for Otakon (which is the only reason I even go to DC anymore...the otaku are mi gente as far as im concerned)...

Isn’t that the point of systemic racism? That it’s sanctioned, directly and/or indirectly?
