I don’t know about the whole world, but there are quite a few in London... this is a great website to keep up with immersive theater that isn’t $6000

I know, I’m being too cynical. After all, the immersive Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser experience at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida stands on its own merits. Just like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

That’s unfortunate. I enjoyed her time on screen.

But didn’t you know you shouldn’t believe anything Jenny Nicholson says because a few years ago she tweeted stuff that might not have been fully true about what Jon Boyega said about people shipping Rey and Kylo Ren and then blocked Black fans who told her she was wrong on Twitter?

Also I don’t remember anyone in the comments calling her a bot. A paid shill, sure. But not a bot. Also didn’t see anyone saying she made up the word “immersive”.

Literally the first-ever use of the term, at least according to Google, was this blog post from March 9, 2023: https://www.disneytouristblog.com/star-wars-galactic-starcruiser-slashes-voyages-but-not-prices-or-anything-else/

Excuse me, are you suggesting Sabina is racing to defend the immersive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in order to maintain a good relationship with Disney and thus continue to receive the perks of such a relationship?

Jenny’s video is getting millions of views and she’s stuck on two likes. That’s gotta sting.

Man, Jenny Nicholson lives rent-free in your head.

You might be too young to remember when they had the Star Trek thing in Las Vegas. That one was actually pretty good if you were a fan. They had some awesome shot glasses in the restaurant that weren’t for sale, but we were told by the server that often “phased” out of there.

It’d be nice if they werent all in the states as well..

This is the third article in about one week regarding the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Disney Resort. What an amazing coincidence that they time so perfectly with the recent Jenny Nicholson video about the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Disney Resort.

it received the highest guest scores of any Disney experience for its ambitious storytelling adventure.”

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the answer to this post’s question (“What Makes Immersive Experiences We Love Work?”) is “not costing $6,000.”

Hopefully the theater looks like a bunch of people making out with Wolverine because it’s the most convenient way to eat the popcorn.

Hugh Jackman isn’t going to be happy about it.

Stretchable latex Hugh Jackman head with insertable open mouth.

If the show had demonstrated any ability to develop original characters and themes that were appropriate to the setting this might be a pretty interesting development. Under that scenario, I could see where incorporating Bombadil’s outright goofy OP weirdness into a unique tapestry they’d created could be fun.

It’s really cute the way McFarlane thinks Spawn will ever get made.
