That seems unlikely given that many PC games are only available on Steam. The Resident Evil 4 remake would be a recent example.

It’s still wild to me that lords of the fallen came from the same studio that did both surge games. I hated LoTF - it was so slow and clunky trying to imitate DS1s pace but failing miserably, and it’s story and world building were so bland.

I couldn’t figure out what the hell was going on with this game . I was like, “I could’ve sworn I’ve played a game with this same title before” but it was so unmemorable at the time that I thought this was maybe a remaster or re-release of some kind. Honestly I’m still not sure if this is supposed to be a straight…

You don’t get to do this on your first sequel, the second game has to be either numbered or have a subtitle. You only get to do the same name twice after multiple sequels and at least a decade have passed.

I suppose it depends on your definition of “victim.” In one sense, anyone whose life is negatively affected by a crime that they are innocent of is a victim. Obviously, that’s not how we typically use the term in a legal sense, but their lives have clearly been disrupted and hurt by this.

PA is an at-will state. And “family of an accused criminal” is not a protected class. So I don’t think any massive lawsuit is forthcoming.

Who is giving their employer’s legal advice? This is a massive lawsuit waiting to happen. His family have nothing to do with the murders. He has not even been tried yet, let alone convicted. 

Yeah, I mean, unless someone can prove that they had foreknowledge of this and did nothing, this is entirely fucked up.

This batshittery can/will be applied to everything. This would just as easily used for any Shakespeare performance, movie filming, yes like those truly dreadful Tyler Perry films, every dumb ass frat function of dressing out of gender norms, really just anything.

They’re not unfounded given the way the US and specific states tend to take a mediocre to bad idea and run all the way down the field into the ULTRA TERRIBLE DISASTER ZONE so they can score a truly horrible idea touchdown. This is the US we’re talking about, not a sane country.
