But when it’s gay (or at least men-attracted) men watching and enjoying other men shagging, that’s perverse and explicit and banned from the BBC.”

I don’t think this would have got this far is Hasbro could “nuke” it, mate. Larian aren’t in any way owned or funded by Hasbro.

I’m slightly confused by this sentence:

Man is mad as hell about druid shapeshifting to bang his vampire BF, but 100% cool with a god banging a mortal (which is actually problematic given the wild intelligence/power difference).

Welllll we’ve seen scenes where it’s definitely going to be “noticeable”. But I don’t think there will be any option to be naked outside of cutscenes.

Well the reason we know is that someone asked if GOOlocks were in, and was answered by an official person in chat.

The game runs well. We have the Early Access so you don’t need to theorize or nailbite about its performance.

Pronouns, genitals of choice, gay bears metaphorical and literal, polyamory, this game is basically begging FOX to do them a massive ad campaign for free.

The is a very particular reference and sadly I get it completely.

It’s an extreme opinion I know, but I stand by it!

I groaned so hard my wife asked me if I was ok.

I agree with all of this, but Cyberpunk 2020 understood consumerism and greed (personal and corporate) a lot better than Shadowrun, as well as how banal evil can be. There’s just too much deep conspiracy and too many cunning plans in Shadowrun.

More than borderline, surely? It’s just parody that’s also a good story and has interesting ideas. Many people felt it was sort of the death knell of cyberpunk as a “futurist” genre of SF, rather than a retrofuture genre. That didn’t turn out to be entirely true, though probably largely so.

Wow, I haven’t seen someone say/type jejune with a straight face for like 20+ years. What a blast from the past!

What was missing?

Phil Tippett! I said “That looks a lot like the Mad God guy’s work, just cleaner!”, but I didn’t think they’d actually got him to do the original designs!

Why not both? Honestly both of them rule.

Sure, but it’s tiring and unoriginal, and doesn’t fit at all well with the setting. In the 1990s it was forgivable but it just seems a bit sad now.

This from a man who tried to engage in early-’00s console warring over thumbstick placement.

I mean, given the last Playstation I owned was a PS3, I think we can safely say you probably can’t find your own dick.
