I’ll buy this game if they have Danhausen coming to the ring in a blimp

Big ole babies

Boys spent the last thirty years harassing girls who displayed any interest in games whatsoever, hounded girls out of Makers Class in high school, marginalized women in college courses, and now, wonder: “where are all the women in game development?”

Plus the Fatal Frame series was previously imprisoned on dead, underpowered Nintendo consoles. At least the worst FF (Maiden of Black Water) is coming to multi-platforms later this year am I right??

I followed the directions to the letter and ended up meeting my dad.

Amazon is a garbage company so are your tears

I agree that it’s not easy and not for everyone. I loved it though because I felt like I could handle it and that every night I was making a difference for the trans community and spreading a ton of awareness to people and groups that normally wouldn’t have been exposed. It wasn’t just an echo chamber, and that’s

In the UK it’s sadly but not unsurprisingly cis white women who genuinely seem to believe there’s some cabal of transwomen secretly controlling the world leading that charge...

Full disclosure: As a trans woman myself, I’m not downplaying any of the struggles we have, it’s just that simply not being a white cis man in gaming space generally sucks.

it’s hard for trans people not to be jealous of each other when it’s exactly what we want and dream for, but can’t for whatever reason. I was born too early. I didn’t even know what trans was when I was a kid, which of course confused the hell outta me. That and I’m disabled with Crohn’s disease so I can’t afford it.

But then again, it’s a bad time being a woman in gamer spaces at all.

Show me one example where that has ever been the case, period. It has only ever happened to trademarks, not copyrights. Copyright is automatic: You need not apply for it, and there’s nothing you can do to “lose” it.

I disagree. The Zune was actually a pretty sweet device compared to what the iPod had at the time.

Did people not like Shadowrun Returns? I remember it being pretty good.

it was one of those strips where their actually very smart writing lets them express something we all feel in a cool way. we all know its great, but how they phrased it, i think they really were expressing a very deep approval for the art in a way that was really heartfelt. would be interesting to see how jen zee felt

Gabe... isn’t wrong.

“Bad stereotypes borrowed from foreign movies and television are often all they know and have to draw on without doing actual research.

I’m going to wait until the full game with Cyberpunk as that trailer seemed to depict a lot of different groups in strange ways. For example you have Latinos all depicted as low-rider Mexican Catholicism and some weird gang depicting White Americans as some mix between student nights out and extreme nationalism.

There were huge racial issues with the Haitian gang in the E3 demo from last year, too. Basically every time we’ve seen this game thus far has incorporated some flavor of racism, transphobia, or ableism (remember all the talk like “if you replace body parts with robot parts... are you still human????” like people with

I wouldn’t mind the ten dollars if, y’know, there was a game developers union.
