If I was in his situation I don’t think I would have chosen the safety of society over my own life.

This argument is so dumb and so played out.

From what I’ve read about it, the Veloster needs a lot of development.

Well, if Tesla really can make batteries at $100/kwh and everyone else will be stuck at $220, just selling the batteries seems like the way to go. Building the rest of the truck seems like a real pain in the ass way to sell batteries. My bet, though, is that they won’t hold on to that battery cost edge long even if

I was (am?) definitely one of those mouth-breathers who didn’t want GM bailed out. I’m glad I was wrong and they’ve were able to turn it around overall.

... that’s a Smart Fortwo with a bodykit.

Tesla is working on one as well. You load in the golf course and link it to your GPS enabled golf ball. Not only does Autopilot drive you around the course automatically* - but the always linked server also helps select the best club for your next shot based on a topo of the course and location of your ball.

Isn’t that the unholy union between a Smart car and a Jeep Wrangler?

I know it’s not usually the kind of thing that gets chosen for the honor, but this is COTD stuff right here.

Not sure about other’s experience, but my ‘96 300ZX doesn’t leak at all — even handles powerful touchless car washes like a champ.

uh how is sarcastically saying he hates flamingos (which obviously means he doesn’t hate flamingos) and telling people to stop eating the eggs somehow “belittle” the flamingo. what? if anything, he’s mocking the people that used to eat their eggs (which probably deserves its own criticism), not the flamingos.

Guessing that this will start to be common. Wreck your Tesla, blame autopilot.

You know what? I’ve been a motorcyclist for 30 years of my life, and I’ve encountered that very situation countless times over the years. I’ve been hit, bumped, had trash thrown at me, windhield washers turned on me, and also, every now and again, have drivers intentionally push me out of my lane, just like that lady

Yeah, I’d say the vertical integration fantasy is a much more likely motivation than immediate payoff.

If something so basic and fundamentally important as the gear selector is so confusing that people cannot figure it out, then I’d call that broken, regardless of whether or not it was actually malfunctioning.

I’d rather have a handbrake than a pocket for a phone.

The elimination of the parking brake lever (and teaching people to use it) hasnt helped.

Why would someone buy a Beetle? It’s a worse Golf.

I would like to see Harley-Davidson buy Ducati.

Sorry buddy, your opinion is incorrect. The Excursion is all sorts of awesome.
