My perspective is coming from experience as a Black Gay man. I remember when we were shouted down by bigots who used “free speech” as a cover for their aggressive and ignorant behavior. I didn’t like it then, so it would be hypocritical of me to support our side doing it. Even if what they’re saying is garbage.
