It’s my understanding the opt out was always intended to match the inflating cap when the new TV deals kicked in. There’s gonna be almost $25 million more on the cap this year. He wanted to get to that $30 million/year mark, which he will. Which he deserves.

I don’t think it’s normally that bad. I was referring to a specific play. Curry shot a 3, and Jefferson (I think?) hit him in the legs on the way down. When Curry looked at the ref to ask why there was no foul, the ref kicked out his leg to indicate he thought Curry initiated the contact. That’s not a no-call…

Don’t worry, everyone in Cleveland is fully aware of this. It’s why the sporting world finds us to be so insufferable. We know the outcome, but we can’t help to hope.
