“You hate the oppressive state of capitalism and how it uses deprivation to force you to work for less than you’re worth? How about we just steal your work and starve you anyway, how about that?”

It wasn’t exhausting because it was hard work. It was exhausting because Phil Lord is a crappy producer who doesn’t understand animation workflow.

I agree with the sentiment , but saying that this “cost human lives” means a different thing than what happened. But yes, I loved this movie, and it sucks that people were upset with the conditions under which it was made.

You know, you CAN love the final product and still be dissapointed with how the studio abuses the VFX workers.

Friendly critique: You seem to have dropped the opening word in numerous sentences throughout the article.

I believe you’re missing the words “Final Fantasy XVI” at the beginning of 4 paragraphs, lol. Great write up though. I’m excited to take off of work tomorrow to play it all day!

You guys need major therapy for your KK Derangement Syndrome

I may be misremembering it, but I think that was a fourth wall break question to the audience. Like, will you be here next March?

I’m surprised you hadn’t realized yet that transphobes aren’t welcome in these parts.

The logic publicly endorsed by people pushing these laws is that if some [drag shows/furry events/etc.] have sexual content only appropriate for adults, then all performances are inherently adult. No, they don’t apply this to e.g. movies or standup comedy, because they don’t have to, because the laws are vague

The worst part to me is that so much of this country was built on trains, we should've had a huge head start, and then we just entirely gave up after inventing highways.

Yeah no shit. The story’s about a young girl discovering her sexuality and how it affects the rest of her life, her relationship with her family.

I find it hilarious that a One Piece adaptation is limited to 8 episodes.

It’s BECAUSE they wrote it off. Review-bombing isn’t based on the players’ experiences with the game, it’s because it’s been identified as a target for culture-warring.

The Sauron shows up in the first Lego Batman movie, so basically anything is on the table. The Lego movie setting is explicitly about kids playing Legos, though somewhat less overt in the Lego Batman movie, so anything that a kid might do with their Legos is fair game, including mixing francises, adding non-Lego

sony copying Logitech’s lead on gaming handhelds is like Rocksteady saying “hey why don’t we copy marvel’s avengers GaaS game” with Suicide Squad lol

It’s not, really. Queer people seeing people like themselves in games is a big deal, because representation matters. Just like the fact that this is the first “out” hero (at release) matters too.

Devil’s Advocate: PSVR2 is the most affordable tethered experience you can get.

I wouldn't call VR a gimmick but it definitly still falls in the enthusiast market rather than full commercial. The only headset doing any kind of numbers is the Quest and even then the company has been scaling back because the market is still too young.
