Apart from the fact that a chat program like discord does not equal a bulletin-style web forum, there’s another massive problem with this: discord is a discreet app. While discord can be run within a browser, it’s not the same as a web forum designed to work on anything with web access. Let’s say I’m playing elder

I think my biggest problem from this, is that it means it’s going to be harder for people to find information regarding any issues their looking for.

Most of the problems I’ve had with PC gaming, I could at least find forum posts detailing the problem with solutions or at least experiences that tell me my issue aren’t

From what I can tell, Discord is just a specialized chat room, right? How does that even remotely replace a forum?

I mean, quite apart from that, Discord is not a forum. Just flat out. It’s not just community stuff that suffers here, or bug finding, but it basically kills feedback dead. This is a terrible decision, and I say that as someone who currently has Discord open (admittedly for trying to snag a 3080, but still).

See, this is the problem when people say “I don’t want politics in videogames,”.

She was actually supposed to be a full-fledged fighter, but Sakurai figured that since the series never left Japan, international audiences wouldn’t be able to identify with her, so all that really got made of her was the base model, used in the trophy.

I remember when I was younger and I didn’t give a second thought to how video games were made, or the ordeals and struggles developers would go through to get these products into my hands. I just cared about having fun. Now I live for these kinds of articles, and I’m super excited to read your new book.

Wow! no spoiler warning about the ending?? Like seriously??

After getting a PS5 digital myself, it looks a lot nicer than I thought it would. Horizontally, especially, the curves look really nice and it doesn’t look quite as imposing—almost tasteful!

I’d really like a redesign of the main console. It’s just so over-the-top and gaudy in my opinion.

It was one of the first games announced for the switch!

I’ll be honest, when the PS5 was released and there was nothing about PSVR, I assumed Sony was going to let it quietly die. This, though, sounds pretty badass. I’m not a VR guy (tried it a few times, thought it was cool, but don’t think it would be worth the money or space for me, given how much I would use it), but

I was looking it up, because this was also my choice. I found this:

I’m still new to the world of drawing pads and digital drawing, but, from what I’ve found, a few upsides would be:

seems to me that modern games criticism is a lot more healthy and robust then it was even just 5 years ago. if anything, the reactionary chuds are losing their grip on things and are freaking out about it.

I assume it’s about the fact that two of Konami’s biggest businesses are both gambling machines*... and gambling is historically very strongly connected to organized crime, even in places where it’s legalized and regulated.

It sounds like your position is you don’t care if it’s disadvantageous to the software creators, just that you benefit in the end. Except you aren’t benefiting in the end either, you are paying more for a limited library of applications. You sound like an apple pr person, or an apple fanboy.

I'm so excited for this game I purposefully did not watch the stream so I can see it all myself later :)

I want to see this in theaters, but, aside from the standard COVID issues, it seems like Cinemark got rid of its $5.50 Tuesday deal. I mean, I totally get why, but I’ve been paying $5-$8 for movie tickets for so long that a full $15 really makes me hesitant.

The Humble brand has expanded, and they have a ton of revenue streams. The scale of the storefront is a lot more than just the bundles, and I suspect the bundles themselves don’t dig that deep into profits. I’m just skeptical that this is anything but a company trying to maximize its ROI. And setting the maximum
