What the hell kinda corkscrew dick you got, man?
When I heard that Illumination was going to be responsible for this, I knew something like this would happen. Pratt’s casting is just, to me, the inevitable being made brutally apparent: that this movie is going to be decent. Not great, not bad, but decent.
That powerup upgrading system is straight out of the first LEGO Racers. I always thought it was a cool idea, but I assumed that no one else used it because it was really easy to get absurdly overpowered items and just open multiple wormholes to 1st place and beyond.
Man, I’m still sad that Level 5 is basically dead to the West. At least the studio is still around, unlike AlphaDream, but I’ll never not be salty that we’ll never get modern Layton or Dark Cloud games.
I played the demo of this for maybe 20 minutes and was severely disappointed. I was expecting some Slay The Spire-like deckbuilding elements, but from what I’ve seen so far, it’s just an incredibly generic, linear JRPG that happens to use cards for everything and only has one voice actor. You don’t even have a “deck”…
Yeah, the control stick is kinda weird in retrospect, but the whole housing for it is just solid to hold. There’s a reason why Nintendo pretty much completely copied that middle section when they made the Wii’s Nunchuk.
The GBA Castlevania games had multiplayer?
I agree with all your points, except that the one about all buttons being accessible. It’s just a fact that you could only ever use 2 of the 3 triggers/bumpers at once.
Do either of the PS versions have Gyro aim?
Since Banjo is in Smash, and first-party Xbox games like Ori and Cuphead are on the eShop...it’s plausible, honestly.

Let’s be real here, everyone used their palms, not their fingers. These wouldn’t help.
This is unironically probably a good way to play some DS/3DS games that use the touch screen and buttons simultaneously, like Kid Icarus Uprising and Super Mario 64 DS.
On a related note: what about pausing? I know that another player can invade your game whenever, which honestly sounds cool, but does that mean that you can’t pause the game?
There is a USB adapter, I believe.
Any chance the PS5 version has gyro aim, like in Days Gone?
Dumb question, but why not just make game purchases on whatever device you’re using to comment here? Like, the PS website or app or whatever.
that copyright was for all of the PS Studios titles that were shown together.
That’s exactly what this game is. You don’t even play as anyone other than Star Lord himself, apparently.
