I am the only one who suspects this is entirely made up for PR reasons? 

I’m not going to discount her work at all, but let’s be honest - legendary is a pretty bold claim here. She’s not on par with even John Romero. Legendary is on the levels of Miyamoto, will Wright, and I’ll say Kojima and many others. Playboy game can’t be compared to something like Mario Bros.

I was first shocked to find out that internet famous russian fan artist Ilya Kushnikov was part of the crew, then it dawned on me most of the women in the show look like a younger cg’d Natalie Portman and then it made sense -- also, the guy that does backflips to flee from the Major and Batou is based on himself. 

Didn’t make it past the first episode. I couldn’t get past the horrible look. I mean a significant part of GitS is how incredible it looks. And I have no problem with CGI cause I LOVE the Appleseed movies. But this looked like a bad video game. 

I think what set everyone off was the snarky tone and implying that other adults with potentially more free time, disposable income or priorities don’t have common sense and are doing it wrong.
