Look, at a high level, I’m with you. Everyone loves freedom of speech until they see something they don’t like. If they want to get into a fight with a private school over their freedom of expression, that’s their business. But they’ve got to know they aren’t going to win that fight, and it would be embarrassing for

It’s not the same at all.  A private school is just that; private.  The state limiting access to abortions, or “don’t say gay” is all the government encroaching on the rights of citizens.  They are not remotely the same at all.

Stop being so cheeky. You know what it is and what it does.

No mention of the Nissan NV200 vans? They were a flop, but definitely a part of the history.

The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission authorized the use of Tesla Model Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E electric vehicles for taxi service in 2022.

Checker vehicles started to fall out of favor for smaller and more fuel-efficient cars. Eventually, the Chevrolet Caprice would be the most common vehicle used for taxi service.

Wow, did your mother invent the start/stop system?

The Voltec PHEV platform has (had) real legs, I think they had it right back then. No range anxiety (the battery allowed for ~6mi of driving after fuel was depleted), no charging network needed, but even the 38mi range covered 95% of the driving I did, could charge it overnight on 120V.

It’s a shame they didn’t offer

I know we’re acknowledging things are irrational here, but I would like to see anyone justify that the Saab 9000 (the last model developed pre-GM) is substantially more characterful than the NG900/9-3/9-5. As well, it’s hard to talk about the viability of a brand that at time of buyout, was building about 100k cars

I recently acquired a GM-era Saab and an truly impressed at how awesome it is. The Swedish design and engineering is combined with GM reliability and parts prices make it cheap to keep running even North of 180,000 miles.

Yeah I had one. Great car for the LA commute. Only turned in because end of lease. Should have refined instead of discontinue. I prefer it over the Bolt.

The car is still better off with a four cylinder.

I didnt have a choice. :). Parents took me.. Married with kids now, and we have no want to go on a cruise. I’m open to understanding better tho, maybe i’m missing something.. but anyone I know that has been on a cruise has not had a great experience. Some family friends of ours went on one (pre-covid), kid got the

With the Camaro dead a Blackwing 6-speed is now on the top of my list. We’ll see.

Tosh is a Dollar General type of Guy

I think we are talking about two different things. You seem to be talking about classifications by government entities for things like fuel economy standards, etc. I’m talking about market segments that analysts, journalists, and some consumers use to categorize vehicles.

Airplanes are built with redundancy in mind; even if that wing fails completely, there’s a whole other wing on the other side of the plane.

This is EXACTLY the correct answer.

Let’s say that everyone says “ack, I won’t take a cruise!”.
