I feel the opposite. In the US, Ford has 1 bespoke electric model, and 2 legacy platforms with batteries. GM has a ground up electric platform which can (and has) spawn many models and segments.

Honda LKAS will follow a fairly curvy road and keep the car in the center of the lane (going 40mph+). I assume most do this now as they are closer to lane centering systems rather than the first batch of lane keep assist that ping pongged the car from line to line
