I bet Screening at Speed Program Manager Dr. John Fortune has more of an insight into their plans to reallocate their employees than us or Bradley.  Just seems like an odd assertion to say they are out of a job when they have explicitly stated they are going to reallocate them, especially as they have thousands of job

freeing their time to be reallocated to the busier aspects of screening operations.

Imagined how shocked people where when their milk was delivered in a truck rather than a horse drawn cart.  They probably had to google it back then, too.

This will always be the best little red truck hauling a Christmas tree in my book

Am I the only who thought this has been a thing forever? My sister has been asking me to buy basically any examples of this i find for the past 10 years?

This part.

Ford has never sold a naturally aspirated GT, so yearning for it to to have a “traditional V8" is either asking for it be closer to the 1960 racing car or a departure from what the production car has always been...a Ford with a forced induction truck motor.

They also use waste heat (plus humidity from the cabin) from the motors, battery, and cabin to help out the heat pumps.

I think you calculated the probability for event 1 OR 2 OR 3 OR 4 to happen, when you should be calculating 1 AND 2 AND 3 AND 4, but it has been far too long since i took stats.

Did anyone expect them to be at 500,000 chargers 6 years before the target?

LA County has more than annually than many states combined... LA County had over 2,200 in 2020.

Since they are so highly trained, I’d think it should take much less than that.

Not to bash your FIL but this, at best, sounds like extremely fragile masculinity. I can’t imagine writing off a car because the the design was lead by a woman. The 350z was designed by a woman and that car ushered in a pretty good design era for Nissan. I think she also lead the 2016+ Titan design. NSX, LC Concept,

Engines/transmissions have been designed to drop down and under vehicles for decades to the point where its not a feature spoken about but rather an expected standard safety device. Most castings are made with specific failure points for this reason. Breaking these mounts further energy dissipation.

battery warranty for eight years or a mega 150,000 miles.

Fun fact, Houston also has the only public under water tunnel in Texas.

They also need a DCFC for diagnostics and repairs, so I think Ford making it public is a two birds one stone type thing.
