My parents had a 1999 5.7L suburban and my dad claimed it would get 15-17 on long highway trips. I never checked the math as a child, and it seems pretty high in retrospect, but this is a guy who had planner in every book where he wrote down every time he got gas and calculated the MPG. So I’ll take his word.
For 80(+)% of the buyers of these things, they will prefer that over a top trim Expedition. (TBF, the expedition interior seems pretty tacky.) Most are either stuborn and technology adverse or buying it for utilitarian needs, as it is “just” a chevy.
If I am being pedantic, the 1995 pictured is officially just named “Blazer,” the prefix S-10 was dropped.
Update: I just had a piece from of the one from Manny Randazzo’s and not only is the baby in the cake, I found Jesus!
This is excellent news. My office currently has 4 unopened king cakes and 3 that are in various stages of consumption. They are from 4 different bakeries (3 in NOLA, 1 in Houston). I am now on a mission to find one with a baby actually in the cake. So far, no baby.
Agreed. They absolutely ruined the Blazer.
Fair enough. If I’m honest, I lost track of who said what about a dozen comments in or so. I think I was intending to responding to your comment about tenure, but my response was tainted by some other comments about only getting the minimum (its a lot) and then after taxes (we all pay them) its even less.

Wow. Those poor guys. I did not know they had it that hard. Does Sarah McLachlan know about this?
Nice. Thats the first two tone model X I have seen.
Of course, it’s not all bad. The direct-to-consumer division experienced $1.1 billion in losses, up from $500 million last quarter.
The outlet says there are currently 15 Air Grand Tourings and seven Air Tourings available for immediate delivery, according to Lucid’s website.
All of the Papas restaurants are over priced in my book. El Tiempo is priced a little better...but honestly both are pretty trash TexMex since they try to be too fancy with it. If I am relegated to doing chain TexMex, I prefer Chuys, which is still very white and probably barely qualifies as TexMex, but I like their…
The comment I replied to made no comparisons to a Ford of any type, regardless if that comment was a response to a comment that mentioned Ford. Also, in my reply, there is no need to make the wrong assumption I meant “down on power [compared to the Ford],” when I literally said, “down on power for its size.” I’ll…
I would like for them to continue to be part of my diet, thanks.
Kura?
The place I go has lids on all of them. They spring open when you lift the edge of the plate and will not reclose.
The fastest AC chargers are already 19.2kW. Even if you dont get a charger that powerful or a car that can take it, no reason to under size the circuit for a future upgrade.
