Oh, so before someone says some racist shit like “go back home” they ask if you are here legally?

I like the Rivian the most. And I love everything on the Silverado from the A pillar back...which is the exact opposite of the Ram, imo.
I like the front 1/3 of this, the back (from the missing B pillar rearward) is awful to me, especially the way the bed interacts with the cab. I am a big Avalanche fan, so its probably no surprise I like the way Chevy did that portion. The Silverado face completely ruins it for me though.
This is great news for GM. The Silverado EV is no longer* the ugliest electric truck.
Ultra luxury for the time, sure. But that was a time when the iPhone couldn’t send multimedia messages, was only on AT&T, and did not even have 3G.
I do agree as long as the team is red and called Ferarri, most people won’t care who makes the ICE in the back of it. It will just get harder for boards to approve the spending if there is no engineering benefit.
There are plenty of people in red states that do no vote red.
Well thats a horrible take.
You asked why we need OEMs, then continue to push OEMs? Ferrari and Mercedes are both OEMs, along with Alpha, Alipne, and Aston. If you meant that you want OEMs to build chassis but not engines, asking “do we really need them?” does not make that clear.
Yeah, thats my issue with the i3...it is exhausting on a road trip or even just a short stint of a 75mph Houston highway. Somehow what makes a Miata or Mini fun and engaging makes this thing terrifying and exhausting.
Well, if Ferrari exited, it would not be a Ferrari at all. At which point I would say yes, all but the diehard fans would likely lose interest watching Dallara-Mechachrome Racing Team go around a track, even if they kept it red. Same goes for a Multimatic-Ilmor Racing, or any other combination of non-road car…
And they have not been allowed in Indy since 2011. That hasnt stopped Chevy from winning 8 times since. There is no reason to believe that GM could not create its own engine for Formula 1 or forge a partnership like they winningly do with Ilmor in Indy.
I think the big name car manufacturers also bring a lot of fans in addition to straight cash.
I’ll restate: GM sells more trucks than Ford as it is and as was stated in the post that you responded to with “I don’t know”. No need to speculate, it is an objective fact.
Yeah you are correct. I used UK gallons, but not from Mazda’s website, and looking now it looks like I used the last gen number, so the 2.0 current gen gets 40.9. Still over 10% increase which is pretty good, especially if it includes any type of spirited driving on the track.
So it doubled its mileage estimates? That seems like the most impressive part. Couldn’t care less about its ability to include “track driving” in its 1,000 mile trip, especially as it doesn’t mention how hard it was being driven around the track...could have been the same as they drove it around the town square. Also…
That is completely irrelevant to what he said. As he stated, GM sells more trucks [than Ford Motor Company]. He never said Chevy [or GMC] sells more trucks [than the Ford brand].
I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many worn out and just all together over it faces than the hordes of people at Love Field when I finally landed Christmas Eve. My flight was “only” delayed by about 3 hours but most other people were already stuck or delayed by much longer.
Obviously Waymo and Cruise are in San Francisco and Phoenix for a reason, it would be interesting to see how they handle the same weather conditions.
The last sentence really sounded like it was written by AI. I got this by asking Chat-GTP to explain tail numbers. I did supply it with the N numbers and asked it to mention Musk’s and “the crown prince’s 747"as an example, but it supplied the model (a bit too in depth of an example for this post’s purpose) and the…
