yeah i felt like that was more than a minor detail. Maybe $10k but $100k is a bit absurd.

Shell does not own retail gas stations in the US. Nor do any other majors. And when they did they made far more money on what you buy inside than what you buy outside.

While true, nothing the super majors, of which there are 4 not 7, are doing around new energies is particularly profitable - popular, but not profitable. BP has made the largest shift away from hydrocarbons and been rewarded with the worst performing stock of the 4 super majors over the past year. The ubitricity

Retail gasoline is not where oil companies make money - at any price. For the few that still own retail, they make more inside the store than they do at the pump.

counterpoint: you should never finance a depreciating asset.

If you think in terms of monthly payments...especially with a 60 month base case on a depreciating asset... a $200k car might not be f0r you? Also that whole college fund thing. My C2S would not be in the garage if it had any bearing on our ability to fund other priorities. But shine on, you crazy diamond.

You mean by actually getting arrested, right? Because the corruption is by design.

Reduced headcount runs counter to the union goal of 3 people doing the job of 1.

This is genteel. Go read Dan Loeb’s letters to CEOs. Excerpt from one of my favorite’s (to the CEO of Star Gas):

Congrats. But that’s 1 person giving to multiple charities. Now how much of the collective net worth (which is admittedly a stupid metric) of your parents, your siblings, their children, their children’s children did you give to 1 single charity? Because that’s what we are talking about. A family foundation with ~100

Attacking suppliers will get you nowhere. Supply follows demand, not the other way around (see: e.g. cocaine, the “war” on drugs, et al). Until demand is addressed on a significant scale, this effort will be nascent.

The starting pitching gets a lot of attention but the collapse of the offense has been absurd.

What about rebranding each team as Homeboys / Awayboys, respectively, and inviting Dan Cortese to throw out the first pitch to Bill Bellamy?

I recognize that climate change is occurring and we should be pro-actively addressing it - but these protests (and many less “active” supporters) seem to believe that attacking supply will change demand. That is not going to work. You have to change demand and supply will follow.

They also have this paper thing with staples that is causing some financial issues.

Idk 0.0001% feels ok to me but clearly we disagree.

At least 16...out of 68.5 million.

...and the worst one is Londyn.

I always tell my 4yo to work on his finger dexterity bc of all the job growth coming in human-driven manufacturing.
