Yeah, I’m having kind of a hard time feeling bad about lost sports memorabilia when the family cat couldn’t be saved.

(Existential question: Why do we like bad things?)

I’m glad. Every bit helps. (For the record, it took me the better part of a year or so to drag myself out of a lot of self-blame that was completely misplaced.)

Ugh, I know.

I am SO not ready to date again. It makes me question if I ever mattered to him at all.

Same, nothing at all.

Thank you!

Chick-Fil-A still gets plenty of customers, politics or no.

It could be either, though I’m leaning toward Stunna, since I own both (sometimes wear them together), and I think Ma’damn is a bit on the deeper/bluer red side? Albeit not by much. Either way, of course it looks great; they’re awesome colors and Rihanna always looks amazing.

I live (and still fairly regularly drive, though I walk a lot) in LA, and I still have my ‘07 Thomas Guide in my trunk, from before I lived here and would just use it when visiting! You never know!

I am not ready for this season to be over! Next week might kill me.

Yeah, and even on a small, personal scale, I’ve already seen the effects of it, even out here in California (and LA specifically). Business is definitely down, most immediately caused by tourism being down, because (understandably) far fewer people really feel like coming here and spending money right now. Imagine

Which is great because, wow, that guy is beautiful.

I am a very analytical and need to know the nuts and bolts behind major decisions. You can waste a lot of time and energy trying to understand the decision making behind the shitty decisions others have made that have negatively impacted your life. The only little nugget of advice I can give is grieve and move on.

You’re so welcome! I just adore her. I still remember the night I stumbled on her site (I honestly don’t recall how anymore), I spent a couple hours, late at night, reading literally everything she has on there and thoroughly creeping myself out.

Fair enough! (I’d definitely agree the writers rarely listen, particularly when it comes to poorly researched articles, let alone the horrific copy editing standards around here...)

Thank you for articulating this so well. I’m as familiar with that sound, and its effects, as you, and so many other women out there.

Yeah, a couple issues of this one came through the secondhand bookshop I work in recently, and I wanted to find them compelling or even visually interesting, but they just didn’t do it for me, and I think you hit the nail on the head as to why.

It’s only been hours so far, but I’m already exhausted by this entire hearing process, while still being in awe of Ford’s bravery.
