Hospital is a good guess, though.

Oh my god, 31? My age? I just looked, and boy, you are NOT kidding.

Straight up popped into Sephora yesterday expressly to pick a couple of these up, then immediately tried them. Specifically the new 7daywknd/Poolside Killawatt Highlighter combo and the Mamacita/ Tini Kini 2-in-1 Eye Shimmer. Loved both right away.

What a Queen. I love her so.

Just finished the excellent true crime book by Richard Lloyd Parry, People Who Eat Darkness. It’s about a truly gruesome and bizarre case, but it also delves into the huge differences between the policing and investigation and court systems in Japan vs. the US and UK, which is pretty fascinating.

I’ll admit, I never actually watched the show, so I wouldn’t know what episode it was in... But it’s a very short one where some older woman asks a young male clerk about a book in an old bookstore. That’s about as much as I remember!

Oh man, do I envy the light in your place! I love plants and really miss having and caring for them, but my apartment is situated in such a way — much larger building shading us directly from the west, giant hedge blocking the entire front — that we get practically NO sunlight. Apart from a bit in the kitchen, but the

I’m rarely impressed by people who have more money than god decided to sacrifice a few pennies.

An absolute jam, no pun intended.

And the choreography during the breakdown was the slam dunk at every talent show in America that year.

A friend of mine once commented how nuts it was that Michael and Janet came from the same family, because if you think about it, the combined star power and talent between the two of them alone could probably power the sun. Which is both true, and insane.

Whenever I see the common military connections, I always flash back to this quote of Dana Scully’s, from The X-Files, discussing a suspect who literally talks other people into killing themselves:

A dear friend of mine is a former GP, now a psychiatrist (and studying psychoanalysis now as well). He has plenty of his own issues, and a history of childhood abuse. (He’s also one of the loveliest human beings I’ve ever known.) I think it makes him an incredibly effective therapist, and he’s helped a lot of people.

I’d love to know if he’s managed to recall every woman he is said to have harassed.

There are far too many personal reasons I can’t possibly get into to explain why, but I am cracking the fuck up at this post, so thank you for that, Bobby.

He’s still one of mine, I can’t lie, and interacting with him certainly never dissuaded me!

It is! I like spreading good experiences with Keanu where I can; he is a lovely individual who I just feel deserves to be thought well of, y’know?

Yeah. I’m sure it doesn’t help that my overall experience with GPs in the past (most of them men) have been overwhelmingly terrible, bordering on abusive. I have a hard enough time trusting doctors at all, and male doctors in particular.

He is! He was absolutely my favorite celeb regular at my old bookshop. Just the loveliest person. He’s extremely well-read, and loves talking about books. He’d always bounce up to the counter and ask what I was currently reading, and would tell me about what he was currently into; he had great taste, and was so

Pretty much every single sentence of this story made me want to vomit.
