Nothing other than bullshit ever comes out of his mouth, ever, so it’s not exactly a surprise. God, he was such a pain in the ass to deal with at my old job. (Funnily enough, he was among the three worst people I had to habitually deal with there. The worst one by far was — shocker! — Harvey Weinstein.)

I would totally throw a hamburger at him if given the chance.

Still doing my best to weather the final throes of a pretty fantastically shit year. I’ve been trying to enjoy the good days as much as possible, but sometimes you get put in a situation that just drags you through a bunch of shit you’re not in the mood to deal with, and last night was definitely one of those. It just

I love this video, because I am pretty sure you’re right. Also, I saw Janet on her LA stop for this tour, and she was PHENOMENAL, so I hope the guy in the video had an awesome time.

My mama is driving up from hometown to here, as she’s done ever since I moved here (it’s a 2 hour drive at most, typically, so pretty easy), and since we’ve always been a small family even when my parents were still together, my father is Swiss, and any extended family on either side have always been far away,

But. But. Who’s a good kitty? D’aww, look at this good kitty with his twitchy nose and floofy tail. I can’t stay mad at the cat. The cat doesn’t know not to interrupt the cars. Also, cats are adorable.

omg what a perfect and beautiful Kitty Loaf.

Don’t treat people like servers, cashiers, bankers, construction workers. Treat them like people with histories, families, weaknesses, talents, and lives outside of this small interaction you’re having with them.

I guess my point is that people show that they care and that they see you in different ways and sometimes it’s important to not expect to receive that in the way you would give it yourself.

Ugh, I’m sorry! I definitely know that if I had to live anywhere else, I’d miss the hell out of the seemingly endless array of constant movie options always going on around here.

I doubt anyone will see this, since I’m late as hell to this post, but: Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Came here hoping I’d find Children of Men down here somewhere. Agreed wholeheartedly.

Manhunter is so great.

I’d recommend reading him; I really can’t agree with that assessment. Leonard definitely has his own very particular style — which has inspired countless knock-offs — but when he’s at his best within it, his books are excellent. The book version of Out of Sight, for instance, is pretty much on the level with the

John Wick is the best action noir film since Collateral.

“the writing’s on the wall that Amazon’s gonna take over the whole delivery industry in the next ten years.”

I swear, every time she walks by my shop, my manager and I both just sort of let it be a moment, because everyone else kind of stops and quietly watches, too. She just floats by, with that magnificent hair...

These are all more simple than they seem.

That is because it is a terrible take.

I’m not saying it’s not worth addressing, because all of it is, but... if that’s all it is, I really, really hope she’s not throwing around (and grossly triviliazing) the word “stalked” with that. Harrassment, you’d have an argument for. But that is NOT stalking. Not only does that not hold an ounce of legal water,
