Re: #6, part 2 — Also, does anyone else have a good ear for musical notes? Because, at least with older cars that still made these sounds, generally every make has a different and distinct set of notes. (E.g. I always know when a Honda is being locked/unlocked.) They don’t all sound the same!

I’ve only ever had one in-person interaction with him, at my previous bookshop, but it was like a 30+ minute, super fascinating discussion about true crime books, and he was both very relaxing to be around and very charming (and so tall! and I’m a 6' tall lady!). So... I choose to believe he is probably pretty awesome.
I believe he took a bit of a break a year or a bit longer ago due to the sadly unexpected death of his girlfriend (I can’t recall if they were engaged or not), so he just wasn’t up to producing content for a while, understandably. But he is back and as fantastic as ever!
Oh man, yes, please do. He’s one of the most consistently on point perspectives re: race, politics, and pop culture around, and I’ve been following his videos for years.
