I think people are missing some of the nuance here. Obviously, no one expects a comedian to tell the 100% truth during their sets. We know there’s a level of deception. But there’s a big difference between telling a fake story for a laugh and telling a fake story that hurts real people.

Considering that this is just the Deluxe edition with the statue included, the real question isn’t if you want to pay $350 for a “Collector’s Edition”, it’s if you want to pay $250 for a Sephiroth statue. And assuming the final product isn’t a lot worse than the picture (which I admit is absolutely a possibility),

Not sure you can call it fanfiction when the company that owns the story is the one telling it.

Yeah, I have no idea why they would do this.

why?? These are all playable character from the original. It is only missing Cid which I’m guessing they are keeping him for the last game.

Even the well made TV show was a bad idea and I hate it more and more as time goes by.

I’m sure thus website called the AVClub will get right on that hard hitting journalism about the floods in Libya now that you've called them out.

Remember folks, it's only a crime if you're poor.   Otherwise, this is just smart investment/Capitalism.

Mostly liking this show but for crying out loud give Chopper something more to do than sit in the background going “Burble burble burble”

Look, I adore Richard Linklater’s films, but man do I tire of these arguments.  Cinema is always evolving, and the one constant, are those who proclaim cinema dead or dying.  They said as much when talkies came in.  And color.  And widescreen.  And television.  And digital. Cinema evolved, and changed, but that’s what

It was nice to see Hayden again, but the de-aging effects really took me out of the moment. Why does he need to look younger?

It takes place around 9-10 years after the end of Rebels, as in Thrawn’s defeat, not the Rebels epilogue.

One of my favorite head slap moments in show history is when the challenge was “Make an American style pie” and it immediately cut to Paul in confessional format saying “What the contestants don’t know is I hate American pies and think they’re trash so if they want to win this they’ll need to make a proper British

It highlights the deeper problem: they “feature” national baked goods while not doing the necessary research. The sombreros and whatever for Mexican week weren’t great, but the deeper crime was ignoring the varied and delicious Mexican pastry traditions in favor of bastardized tres leches cake and fucking tacos. They

A while back I stumbled on some other Paul show where he visited Japan and had such a massive facepalm when he started talking about melon bread like it tasted like melon. It’s called that because it looks like a melon and you can figure that out with the most basic of fucking research.

GBB: Oh, so now we can’t do a National Cuisine week?

lol get a fucking grip.

Honestly, it’s an advantage of streaming to have variable episode lengths, you don’t have to pad it out or remove context.

I’m glad we are getting more force attunement through training/experiences rather than through gifts. we saw it a bit in Rogue One but so far that’s really the only other time we’ve seen it aside from maybe broom boy.

I don’t think Ahsoka (the character) is saying that the Jedi “suck” or that they would be wrong for not training someone like Sabine, I think she’s saying that the Jedi discounted the abilities and contributions of everyone whose Force-sensitivity ranked below a certain threshold (and Huyang, as a “living” embodiment
