I am not quite sure what you would mean by that. Payscale still applies very much to single ep TV directors, actors and writers. Not to mention to the issue of scheduling, as 60min shows and 30min shows have very different production schedules that includes prep and post.

So one thing is that payment rates, residuals and production schedules are dictated by the length of the program. It’s pretty complicated to shift back and forth from 30min to 60min and back to 30. It will also be harder to attract the best talent at a 30 minute payscale.

Just replace the horses with porcupines.

The Chinese teams generated a lot of income for the league. They’re the reason the league was able to finally start paying the players wages.
